Revelation 13 vs 1-10

Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 1
•Notice, this is not the dragon that we saw back in Chapter 12 (so, this is not Satan himself). We will find out in verse 2 that the beast gets his power, throne and authority from the dragon, therefore this is not the dragon. I submit to you that this is the Antichrist but, the reason I point this out is to say look how the beast resembles the dragon. Perfectly. Seven heads and ten horns… (I wonder if he gets a headache, if its all of his heads…but I digress…)
•Here’s the point, you resemble your source. Where do you get your daily bread? Your daily power? Your daily purpose? Where do you go for guidance, to receive direction… to whom do you belong? In the end, you will resemble your source. If it is Jesus, overall and underneath it all, you will be loving, graceful, desire peace and you will harbor a heart to serve God and others. If your source is you, overall and underneath it all, you will deal constantly with bitterness, fear (which manifests in all kinds of things like abuse and using of others), and you deal with want…not just greed…but want.
•Now, here’s the ringer, you have the power to choose and or change your source. Only you can do this. No one else can do this for you. Extremely important and I would say urgent element of you that needs to be surveyed, pulsed, understood and addressed immediately! .
•The beast, the Antichrist, resembles his source, the dragon, or Satan. Why do I believe this to be the Antichrist? I’m glad you asked!!
•As I read through the Greek here and surveyed commentaries on this scene, I noticed something in the text that wasn’t really mentioned in anything I read. I’m a mind picture guy…and I just picture what John must have seen because understand he’s just doing the best that he can do to describe and write the things which he is seeing and they are out there! Very different than anything he has ever seen in the past…multi-colored horses, locusts with crowns something like gold and faces like the faces of men…
•But as he describes this horrifying beast rising up out of the sea, I notice, he’s standing on the beach…literally in the Greek, he has been placed on the sand of the sea…yet no speak of fear. No speak of concern…this seven-headed, ten-horned hydra-monster is rising up before him and he stands his ground and goes on to give us a detailed description of this grotesque monstrosity! Why? How is that? Would I not tremble? Would I not take cover?
•Well I believe the answer is found all the way in verse 18. “Here is wisdom.” I believe John is filled with the power and the presence of God, the surety of being in the Spirit…and in that he is filled with wisdom…he is not fearful because He is sure of the love that He knew while he walked the earth with Jesus and He is even more sure of it now coming from the very throne room of God… He writes of himself…God put me here…
•The Bible says that Perfect Love, (which Jesus is, God is), casts out fear…and I dig that…I desire that…He’s not afraid because God has got him…
•I like that part of this scene…that John is standing, just standing…and because he doesn’t bolt, because he is not overcome with fear, because he is in the spirit, notice…great revelation continues!
•The beast rises out of the sea. Now who is this beast? We know from other parts of the Bible, specifically the Book of Daniel but also just right here in this chapter, that this beast is a “him” (see the word “his” right there in verse 1) and notice he rises up out of the “sea.” Now some Bible scholars believe that the “sea” is a term for the gentile nations and I find that acceptable (especially in light of Revelation 17). And so, I’m good with that…but of course I have my own ideas!
•You see at a distance of 12 nautical miles off of any shore, according to the UN-sponsored Law of the Sea Treaty, once you go out that far, you’re in what is called “International Waters.” America can’t claim the center of the Atlantic as their own…China can’t claim the center of the Pacific as their own…they are “Internationally” or “universally” owned by everyone really…and so I find this eerily symbolic as we see this thrust for a One World Government, a New World Order in which boundaries exist only in our history books and in the minds of the politically incorrect…and so this “sea” that John sees, from which arises the beast…well I see it as symbolic of International waters if you will…the New World Order in which Babylon will be reestablished upon earth… (We will revisit this in its entirety in Revelation 17)
•And notice this beast has seven heads which we have already looked at as could be representative of “head” quarters for the New World Order, the reestablished Babylon, the revived Roman Empire as Rome is the “land of seven hills” being literally surround by seven hills…and upon those heads, or within that confederation, that New World Order…ten horns, all with crowns, so ten kings or ten rulers from ten nations coming together to rule the Nuovos Seclorum the New Order…but only for a short period of time (Revelation 17) which is entirely in lock step with Daniel Chapter 7!
•As you recall Daniel proclaimed his vision of the four beats, the lion the bear and the leopard and finally the exceedingly strong beast…which John completes the picture for us here in Revelation Chapter 13, this fourth beast had the power of all of the others, why? Because they joined forces! The ten nation conglomeration…like that old cartoon where the things would come together to create the major player! What was that Photon or Thundercats or something? Anyway, the fourth beast had ten horns and among the ten arose a little horn who eventually conquered three of the other horns…these are kings mind you and this little horn was speaking terrible things against God…
•Just like this beast here in Revelation as the heads bear a blasphemous name…even the name blasphemes God! Now I find this interesting because yes I believe he has a blasphemous name on his head because rebellion is on his mind…and this image is hideous and monstrous just as is the nature of anyone who feeds upon rebellion BUT, I think this name, this title upon his head may be some sort of weapon. OK I’m going FAR out there now, bear with me. Why? Did you know that there is a missile named, “Nimrod?” Who was he? The founder of what? Babylon! And guess who the owner, designer and manufacturer of this missile is…Israel Aerospace Industries!
•Man, this is heavy…could it be that this anti-Christ, who instituted peace and then ripped it away at the half-way mark of the Great Tribulation by running the Jews out of Israel…could it be that he has assumed the military might of their warfare technology? And who is a primary contributor and ally to Israel today militarily? The most powerful nation on earth in terms of military capability, America…and so the beast, the ten nation New World Order…rising out of International togetherness, with power that has never been seen, bears a blasphemous name upon its head…possibly the Nimrod missile…with the power of all the world within his grip…this is a terrifying scene!
Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 2
•What John sees here is entirely aligned with Daniel 2, the vision of the statue and Daniel 7 the vision of the great beasts. Nebuchadnezzar’s dream that we read of in Daniel Chapter 2…he sees a vision like a man and the man has a head of gold, chest of silver, stomach of brass, legs of iron and his feet are a mixture of iron and clay (which actually makes a very weak substance) and on those feet, ten toes (Daniel Chapter 2 Verses 36 – 45) and each of these portions represent a governing world order beginning with Nebbie himself as the head of gold. But after him another, and then another, and then another until finally the stone not cutout with hands dashes them all to bits…
•Daniel Chapter 7. He sees a vision of four great beasts coming out of the sea (just like John) and these four beasts, the first is like a lion, the second is like a bear, the third is like a leopard, and the fourth beast is, well Daniel writes (Daniel 7:7-8), “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.”
•Lines precisely up with what John sees here. So, what does it all mean? The vision/prophecy of Daniel, the revelation of John…you see it explains, it describes, it embodies the four successive empires that would rule during the time Israel was a nation beginning with the rule and reign of the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar described as the head of gold and as the lion who loses his wits, or his wings, in Daniel Chapter 7. Then Alexander the Great, the mighty chest of silver as Alexander was a great warrior and pounced on his enemies as the Leopard…then coming after him to persecute and war with Israel, the Medes and the Persians, a mighty empire of harsh rule and judgment symbolized by the belly of bronze and fierceness of the bear, and then finally the most terrible beast, symbolized by the industrial acumen, the legs of iron and the feet of iron mixed with clay, the beast more terrible than the others…seven heads, ten horns, the collective New World Order that has emerged just in our recent history as Israel again formed as a nation in one night on May 14, 1948…
•And so John’s vision is the same beast that we find in the Book of Daniel hundreds of years before. Mind you, the beasts, the statue, the dreams and the visions, people will go round and round with ideas and interpretations and so you go research and study for yourself and see what God will show you…but there are some sure items in this portion of text to point out…items that are clear…
•One is that when you compare Daniel 7 with Revelation 13 you find the descriptions to be in the reverse of each other. In other words, Daniel names the lion first while John names the lion last…why? Simple, Daniel was looking forward, John is looking back…Daniel sees the beast in terms of the future, John sees the beast in terms of the past…
•Second, notice that man sees the empires of power as a glorious statue…Nebbie’s vision…such is man’s perspective. God’s perspective however is seen in Daniel Chapter 7 and Revelation Chapter 13…through a series of monstrous beasts…man’s rule over man…man conquering man…man looking to self…a self-made man, self-sourced person we might say…society says well done, God sees the tragedy of it all…isn’t that interesting? The same subject yet man’s perspective is “hey this is good, this is fine, a glorious statue,” yet God’s perspective, “this is monstrous.” I wonder God’s perspective on how you’re living…
•And then finally, no matter how you slice and dice this vision with its clear parallel’s to the Book of Daniel, what is clear is that the rule of man, man’s ways, the world system…all coming to an end because behind it all is the dragon and his demise is sure…
Revelation Chapter 13 Verses 3 - 4
•Now, we are told a little further down (verse 14), that the false prophet comes and says to the people who dwell upon the earth that they should make an image to the beast which had the wound by a sword and did live. This man will be a world leader. There will be an assassination attempt, apparently successful, but he miraculously survives the deadly wounds. Though, according to Zechariah, it could be that it leaves him blinded in his right eye and without the use of his right arm.
•Zechariah 11:17, “Woe to the worthless shepherd, who leaves the flock! A sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye; His arm shall completely wither, and his right eye shall be totally blinded.”
•Yet the very fact that he survives this assassination attempt causes the world to marvel and it brings him into a prominent position in the minds of so many people, because it is by a definite miracle that this man survives. "One of his heads were wounded to death, but the deadly wound was healed."
•And it says here that he is worshipped. Worship belongs to God alone. And let me just encourage you for a moment to be a worshipper. The opposite of pride is not humility. Pride goes before a fall and God resists (is actively against) the prideful. Pride is the origin and source of all sin as it was pride that caused the fall of Lucifer. Pride is the spirit of evil, put most plainly. Humility is not the off-setting spirit. People that don’t know God can still be incredibly humble. The opposite of pride is not humility, its worship…
•Worship of God most High is the spirit of holiness. It is the operation and partnership and work of the Holy Spirit in a heart. If you deal with pride and from pride flows all sorts of problems, the cure is not to become humble. The cure to pride and what it does to a life and how it poisons a heart…is to worship God. This is why you can be entirely humble and still sense that you are very far from God…why? Because you are humbly in sin!
•Worship is so entirely important and its not just singing songs at church, it’s choosing to honor God over self. That is worship because it involves a rejection of pride. The cure for every problem in a person’s life is worship. I’ve entirely convinced of that. That is to unplug from any other source and become dependent upon God.
Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 5
•Notice John says he “continues” for 42 months, which is 3.5 years…
Revelation Chapter 13 Verses 6 – 8
•And so he turns against God completely and anything having to do with God….why? Because Paul said it in 2 Thessalonians 2:4, “He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” He himself will claim to be God and John tells us here…the people will bow…Jesus said, you reject Me and I come in My Father’s name but one will come in his own name…him you will accept…well here it is…
Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 9
•Who is John talking to then? Those that are left…that may be fortunate enough to find a Bible…he’s not talking to the church…how do I know that? Where’s the Spirit? Every other place, “He who has an ear to hear let him hear what the Spirit says…” Not here…John is saying here, heads up! Heads up to where this is all going…wide-eyed they’d be reading this seeing it unfold right in their yesterday…and where is it all going? …Verse 10
Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 10
•Patience is so much easier when we know the end of the story. Anxiety subsides, frustration halts. That’s called hope. John is saying to them and even to us…the end of this and him is sure…you may be in a difficult marriage, persecuted on the job, fighting illness, undergoing severe pressures financially, or just plain weary…understand…this is the patience of the saints…don’t stop doing what is right, and become a worshipper! God will solve it…
•The Book of Revelation is not written so that we can decipher the mark of the beast or figure out who the Antichrist is…its written to reveal to us Jesus Christ…the Lamb slain from the beginning…its written to give us hope and to bring us back constantly to the fact that life is short and soon it will all be folded up neatly and put away…all of it.
•The person who misses that message will go through life in their own personal tribulation…walking in pride…plugged into the false source of self or worse, the source of the world…but the person who does have an ear for the Spirit, a heart open to hope and eternity, will grab hold of Revelation and will live in a state of anticipation and celebration…and will find a heart of worship…every person in here will go into this week either in tribulation or celebration. It’s our own choice…
•Life is short, the Lord is in control, we’re all on our way home…that’s what this book is all about…therefore patience saint…your salvation will soon appear…you’re captive by pride and captives captivate…they imprison other…but Jesus said if the Son has set you free, you are free indeed. You’re harmed yourself and that is the cause of why you draw the sword on others…patience…trust in the Lord. You resemble your source. Set your heart like a watch to the heart of God…that’s what worship does…and you’ll find strength, you’ll find Him faithful and you’ll see how much you are loved…and perhaps finally, you’ll find, or find again perhaps…joy in faith.


Apocalipsis Capítulo 13 Versículo 1
· Note, este no es el dragón que vimos en el Capítulo 12 (entonces, este no es el mismo Satanás). Al final, te parecerás a tu fuente. Si es Jesús, sobre todo y por debajo de todo, serás amoroso, lleno de gracia, desearás la paz y albergarás un corazón para servir a Dios y a los demás. Si tu fuente eres tú, sobre todo y debajo de todo, lidiarás constantemente con la amargura, el miedo (que se manifiesta en todo tipo de cosas como el abuso y el uso de otros), y lidiarás con el deseo… no solo la codicia… sino el deseo.
· Ahora, aquí está el timbre, tu tienes el poder de elegir o cambiar tu fuente. Solo tú puedes hacer esto. Nadie más puede hacer esto por ti. ¡Extremadamente importante y diría que es un elemento urgente que tu debes examinar, checar el pulso, y debe de ser entendido y tomar cuidado de ello de inmediato! .
· La bestia, el Anticristo, se resembla a su fuente, el dragón o Satanás. ¿Por qué creo que este es el Anticristo? ¡¡Me alegro de que lo hayas preguntado !!
· Mientras leía el griego aquí y examinaba los comentarios sobre esta escena, noté algo en el texto que en realidad no se mencionaba en nada de lo que leí. Soy un tipo de imagen mental ... y solo imagino lo que John debe haber visto porque entiendo que está haciendo lo mejor que puede para describir y escribir las cosas que está viendo y ¡están ahí afuera! Muy diferente a cualquier cosa que haya visto en el pasado ... caballos multicolores, langostas con coronas algo así como el oro y rostros como los rostros de los hombres ...
· Pero mientras describe a esta horrible bestia surgiendo del mar, me doy cuenta de que está de pie en la playa ... literalmente en griego, ha sido colocado en la arena del mar ... sin embargo, no se habla de miedo. No hablo de
preocupación… ¡esta hidra-monstruo de siete cabezas y diez cuernos se está levantando ante él y se mantiene firme y continúa para darnos una descripción detallada de esta monstruosidad grotesca! ¿Por qué? ¿Como es eso? ¿No temblaría yo? ¿No me pondría a cubierto?
· Bueno, creo que la respuesta se encuentra en el versículo 18. “Aquí hay sabiduría”. Creo que Juan está lleno del poder y la presencia de Dios, la seguridad de estar en el Espíritu ... y en eso está lleno de sabiduría ... no tiene miedo porque está seguro del amor que conoció mientras caminaba por la tierra con Jesús y Él está aún más seguro de que ahora viene del mismo salón del trono de Dios ... Él escribe de sí mismo ... Dios me puso aquí ...
· La Biblia dice que el Amor Perfecto, (que es Jesús, es Dios ), echa fuera el miedo ... y yo entiendo eso ... y deseo eso ... Él no tiene miedo porque esta en las manos de Dios...
· Me gusta esa parte de esta escena ... que John está de pie, solo de pie ... y porque no se escapa, porque no está abrumado por el miedo, porque está en el espíritu, fíjense ... ¡la gran revelación continúa!
· La bestia sale del mar. Ahora, ¿quién es esta bestia? Sabemos por otras partes de la Biblia, específicamente el Libro de Daniel, pero también aquí en este capítulo, que esta bestia es un "él" (vea la palabra "su" allí mismo en el versículo 1) y note que se levanta. del mar." Ahora, algunos eruditos de la Biblia creen que el "mar" es un término para las naciones gentiles y lo encuentro aceptable (especialmente a la luz de Apocalipsis 17). Entonces, estoy bien con eso ... ¡pero por supuesto que tengo mis propias ideas!

(Revisaremos esto en su totalidad en Apocalipsis 17)
· Y observe que esta bestia tiene siete cabezas que ya hemos visto que puede ser representativas de la "sede" del Nuevo Orden Mundial, la Babilonia restablecida, el Imperio Romano revivido ya que Roma es la "tierra de las siete colinas" literalmente rodeada por siete colinas ... y sobre esas cabezas, o dentro de esa confederación, ese Nuevo Orden Mundial ... diez cuernos, todos con coronas, por lo que diez reyes o diez gobernantes de diez naciones se unen para gobernar los Nuovos Seclorum el Nuevo Orden ... pero solo por un corto período de tiempo (Apocalipsis 17) que está completamente en sintonía con el capítulo 7 de Daniel.
· Como recordará Daniel proclamó su visión de los cuatro bestias, el león, el oso, el leopardo y finalmente la bestia extremadamente fuerte ... que Juan completa el cuadro para nosotros aquí en el capítulo 13 de Apocalipsis, esta cuarta bestia tenía el poder de todos los otros, ¿por qué? ¡Porque unieron fuerzas! El conglomerado de diez naciones ... ¡como esa vieja caricatura en la que las cosas se unían para crear el actor principal! ¿Qué era ese Photon o Thundercats o algo así? encuentro esto interesante porque sí, creo que tiene un nombre blasfemo en la cabeza porque la rebelión está en su mente ... y esta imagen es espantosa y monstruosa al igual que la naturaleza de cualquiera que se alimente de la rebelión PERO, creo que este nombre, este El título en su cabeza puede ser algún tipo de arma. OK, me voy muy lejos ahora, tengan paciencia conmigo. ¿Por qué? ¿Sabías que hay un misil llamado "Nimrod"? ¿Quien era él? ¿El fundador de qué? ¡Babilonia! Y adivinen quién es el propietario, diseñador y fabricante de este misil… ¡Industrias Aeroespaciales de Israel!
· Hombre, esto es pesado ... ¿podría ser que este anticristo, que instituyó la paz y luego la arrancó en la mitad del camino de la Gran Tribulación al expulsar a los judíos de Israel ... podría ser que él haya asumido el poder militar de su tecnología de guerra? ¿Y quién es el principal contribuyente y aliado de Israel hoy en día en el ámbito militar? La nación más poderosa de la tierra en términos de capacidad militar, Los Estados Unidos Americanos... y así la bestia, el Nuevo Orden Mundial de diez naciones ... surgiendo de la unión internacional, con un poder que nunca se ha visto, lleva un nombre blasfemo sobre su cabeza ... posiblemente el Misil Nimrod ... con el poder de todo el mundo a su alcance ... ¡esta es una escena aterradora!
Apocalipsis Capítulo 13 Versículo 2
· Lo que Juan ve aquí está completamente alineado con Daniel 2, la visión de la estatua y Daniel 7, la visión de las grandes bestias. El sueño de Nabucodonosor del que leemos en Daniel Capítulo 2 ... él ve una visión como un hombre y el hombre tiene una cabeza de oro, un cofre de plata, un estómago de bronce, piernas de hierro y sus pies son una mezcla de hierro y arcilla (que en realidad hace una sustancia muy débil) y en esos pies, diez dedos (Capítulo 2 de Daniel, versículos 36-45) y cada una de estas porciones representan un orden mundial gobernante que comienza con el mismo Nebbie como la cabeza de oro. Pero después de él otro, y luego otro, y luego otro hasta que finalmente la piedra no cortada con las manos los destroza a todos ...
· Daniel Capítulo 7. Él ve una visión de cuatro grandes bestias que salen del mar (como Juan) y estas cuatro bestias, la primera es como un león, la segunda es como un oso, la tercera es como un leopardo, y la cuarta bestia es, bien escribe Daniel (Daniel 7: 7-8), “Después de esto vi en visiones nocturnas, y he aquí una cuarta bestia, espantosa y terrible, sumamente fuerte. Tenía enormes dientes de hierro; devoraba, despedazaba y pisoteaba el residuo con los pies. Era diferente de todas las bestias que le precedieron y tenía diez cuernos. Estaba considerando los cuernos, y había otro cuerno, uno pequeño, que subía entre ellos, ante el cual tres de los primeros cuernos fueron arrancados de raíz. Y allí, en este cuerno, había ojos como los ojos de un hombre, y una boca que hablaba palabras pomposas "
.Se alinea precisamente con lo que John ve aquí. ¿Entonces, qué significa todo ésto? La visión / profecía de Daniel, la revelación de Juan ... ya ves, explica, describe, encarna los cuatro imperios sucesivos que gobernarían durante el tiempo en que Israel era una nación que comenzó con el gobierno y el reinado del Rey de Babilonia, describió Nabucodonosor. como la cabeza de oro y como el león que pierde su ingenio, o sus alas, en Daniel Capítulo 7. Luego Alejandro el Grande, el poderoso cofre de plata como Alejandro era un gran guerrero y se abalanzó sobre sus enemigos como el Leopardo ... luego vino después de él para perseguir y guerrear con Israel, los medos y los persas, un poderoso imperio de duro gobierno y juicio simbolizado por el vientre de bronce y la fiereza del oso, y luego finalmente la bestia más terrible, simbolizada por la perspicacia industrial, el piernas de hierro y pies de hierro mezclados con arcilla, la bestia más terrible que las demás ... siete cabezas, diez cuernos, el Nuevo Orden Mundial colectivo que ha surgido en nuestra historia reciente cuando Israel se formó nuevamente como nación en una noche el Mayo 14 de octubre de 1948 ...
· Entonces, la visión de Juan es la misma bestia que encontramos en el Libro de Daniel cientos de años antes. Eso sí, las bestias, la estatua, los sueños y las visiones, la gente dará vueltas y vueltas con ideas e interpretaciones, así que investiga y estudia por ti mismo y ve lo que Dios te mostrará ... pero hay algunos elementos seguros en esto. parte del texto para señalar ... elementos que son claros ...
· Una es que cuando comparas Daniel 7 con Apocalipsis 13, encuentras que las descripciones están al revés.
