Revelation 17 vs 1-6

One of the many mighty aspects and characteristics of God is that He is the ultimate Craftsman. He is the perfect project manager. He never does something half-way, He never stops short and says, “Ah, good enough!” He is faithful. Always and absolutely.

What we’ve seen, since the beginning of Chapter 6, is God’s process of the final judgement of sin…rooting it out, annihilating evil utterly. We saw the title deed to the earth, defaulted with the debt of unrighteousness. Given to man there in the Garden but then man handed it over by our own free will to the serpent, Satan…and since then the earth has been under the sway of evil as Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that Lucifer is the “god of this age.” What age? The age of the fall…but that is all about to come to an end.

The seals holding the title deed closed…have been opened (Chapters 6 and 7) revealing the true form of the earth…fallen and destitute. Then the trumpet judgments were sounded (Chapter 8) and the earth was struck…and the consequence of sin was seen upon the earth through chapters 9, 10, and 11. Then the bowl judgments that we have looked at in depth over the last weeks where the full passion of God’s righteousness has been poured out on a Savior rejecting world…as we heard the people curse God time and time and time again, three times…as truth and faithfulness in finality, came forth…

God has no pleasure in this. In seeing the wicked destroyed. Ezekiel 33:11, “As I live, say the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.”

And so, the earth has been reaped. Just as we read back in Chapter 14 verse 16…the earth has been judged…but God is not through yet…why? Because the root of it all is next. You see, God does everything 100…100 percent…and since the Garden, since the moment that sin entered the world…there has been the ultimate that must be dealt with. Something that is revealed by acts of disobedience against God and unrighteousness in a life…and that ultimate, that must and one day will finally be completely dealt with and put away is false-worship.

That is what sin really is…it’s simply and spiritually put…false worship. Time, attention, obedience to something or someone other than the One true God. Isaiah 45:5 says, “I alone am God, there is none other…” Yet worship of false gods has been the story of man since the garden…

To offer false worship, there must be an object of that worship. A person, a place or a thing…many false gods are mentioned in the Bible. Baal or Balaam or Nimrod or you may have heard of Osiris, Zeus, Saturn…all the same dude, all the same false god. Ashtaroth, Simeramis, Diana, or you may have heard of Juno, Isis, Isthar (where we get our word Easter), all the same false goddess…but again, God is in the business of getting right to the root of the matter and behind all of these man-made false gods, powering all of these objects of false worship which has robbed God of the praises of His people…and ripped out multiplied millions of lives, behind it all…is a constant…an ultimate evil…a spirit of false worship…

The Bible calls it the “great harlot.” I call it, “The Fallen.” The spirit of false worship. The religion set up by Satan and fueled by sin. And the great commandments of this false worship are love yourself (the serpent said to Eve, “I will make you like Him,” …see, the serpent delivered…), love yourself with all of your heart, soul mind and strength. And put your neighbor second.

This false worship that has polluted the perfection of God’s creation and led many men and women to eternal separation from God, has been judged in the form of consequence upon all those who took her in…all those who chose her over Him…and now, God, (as He completes everything He starts), …as He is always and without ceasing faithful to not just address sin but also to root it out…is about to do away with her forever.

Chapter 17 we’ll see the religious aspect, the spiritual side of this ultimate idol destroyed and then in Chapter 18 we’ll see the political, the physical, the consequential side destroyed…what it boils down to is that we will see her destroyed entirely and eternally as God sets the scene for all things to be made purely new, without evil, without sin and without death…

What is the completion of the fallen? An eradication? To remove it? Not even close…., that completes nothing. The completion, to totally deal with sin…there is always a complete reversal. An un-doing. Just what Jesus did on the cross. The wages of sin are death. Jesus took death on in a sinless state and in that death failed. Death was defeated, but even more…it was overturned, reversed…as He had the power to raise Himself from the grave. Now we see the next reversal and that is a return to innocence. The New Heaven and the New Earth are on the horizon, the Garden re-established with no serpent…choices made (everyone there already chose the Lord) so no more choice is needed…just everything purely new, without evil, without sin and without death…even the possibility is removed…a home without Lucifer…

This is the plan of God. This is what is ahead. And this is what He can do even in a life today. All that the enemy has stolen from you, God can restore and even bring beauty from ashes…He is in the businesses of not just ending sin, but reversing it all together. That’s truly what repentance is…not just stopping sin but making it right…endeavoring for unity in the bond of peace we read in Ephesians…and where did that all originate in the first place? In the very character of God, put on display at the cross of Jesus Christ!

Its not too late. It’s not. Your ash heap isn’t too big. What it is is a big opportunity for glory and power to be brought to God through your life. Turn it over to Him. Don’t hide and move on…take it to Him and use all that evil, all that destruction, use it all against the enemy by pressing into the Lord. He loves to reverse sin, and evil…and the fallen, the spirit of false worship that has plagued creation since sin entered the world, God will too have His victory there…

Revelation Chapter 17 Verses 1 – 2
•This angel says this is THE great harlot who sits upon many waters. And we know from our previous studies (and even later in this chapter) that this term “many waters” means all of the nations…and notice the angel here mentions the kings and the inhabitants of the earth had communed with her…and so this is THE one…the one who from the beginning whom has been intoxicating, tempting and devouring God’s children…the children have been judged, time for the mother the angel says…
•And note the universal power and presence of the false religious system…false worship of false gods…whether it’s Buddhism, Islam, Satanism, Hinduism, Rastafarianism, Wicca…doesn’t matter…its all the great harlot! Any worship that is not offered directly to God Almighty through the intercessory blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, God Himself in the person of the Savior, is fornication on God…cheating on Him. Jesus said, “No one comes to the Father except through me…” and so note this universality of this great harlot…
•I’d like to offer you another name of this great harlot…religion. Think of it that way. Religion is man-made. It is man-centered and no matter what religion it is…if it is not a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and your life hidden in Him and NOTHING else…it IS the great harlot! God’s number one desire is to be one on one with you…as the ultimate reversal of sin is upon the world in this chapter, you receiving Jesus Christ is in effect the reversal of sin personally for you and for me and a return to innocence with God the Father.
Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 3
•We’ve seen seven heads and ten horns before right? Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 1 and we identified him at that time, remember? Who is he? The anti-Christ! And who’s riding him? The fallen. Now, understand, the rider is always superior to the ridden. A person rides a horse. He-Man rides Battle Cat! HA! The point is that the Anti-Christ is a pawn. All the power of the earth and yet all he is is a puppet, a tool, of this great Harlot.
•You know, sin and the flesh and the enemy and this world will promise you everything…just like the serpent did for Eve. It may even deliver you everything…just like the serpent did for Eve, but when you have it, it’s not going to make you happy. It’s not going to fulfill you. Satan offered the world and all of its kingdoms to Jesus…and if Jesus had said yes, He would have gotten them all…and forfeited His bride. Forfeited His purpose. Forfeited His love and His joy. Don’t become a pawn. Even when you get everything that the flesh says you want and sin promises you…you won’t be happy. [Key Point #1]
•What will make you happy? Go after what God has for you in your life. Like, go after it… It may be hard now. May require some work now, but Proverbs 16:20 says, “He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.” Sin and the flesh are truth stirred and shaken with lies. This is good. This is what you want. Do this and you’ll get it. And all of that is true. But the disease of discontentness, shame and regret come along with the ways of the flesh. Don’t get ridden…overcome…and made less than this drunken great harlot known as the fallen. And if you have, time to buck her off! Change course and come online with the Holy Spirit!
Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 4
•Where’d she get all that? All those garments and garnishments of royalty? Where did sin and false worship and rebellion and religion and me-mentality (all the same things), where did she get all of that? From men!!! Payment for her services. It’s so incredibly interesting how sin promises to pay but ends up costing you so much! This is payment…
•Note the unlimited prosperity and the unholy passion as she is adorned with the treasures of this world which are the gravel of the world to come…the treasures of the world to come are love…peace…joy…gentleness, kindness, pure and undefiled worship, not these trinkets, not these elements that are only temporary…and the golden cup that she carries is filled with abominations, filthiness and fornication on our God…
Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 5
•So two cities dominate the scriptures. One is Jerusalem of course. The city of God. Founded by God. The capital of Israel, literally the people that are governed by God. The other city is Babylon. Mentioned over 300 times in the Bible. The city of revolt. Founded by Nimrod whose name literally means, “one who rebels.”
•You see this is the Book of Revelation. Here it is revealed what is the evil even behind Babylon…even behind revolt, rebellion, false worship, confusion…it’s the harlot and she represents this spirit that has been at work in the hearts of men since the fall…the spirit of selling yourself and abomination!
•And notice she is intoxicated. She appears drunk. In a stupor…from what? Look at verse 6…
Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 6
•Teaching in the synagogue in Jerusalem on the Sabbath, Jesus raised His head and Mark writes for us in Mark 6:6 that Jesus marveled at their unbelief. I bring that up because I don’t want you to think John is admiring this beast and this evil that rides upon him. Jesus didn’t admire the unbelief of the people, He mourned over it…to the point that He had to take a step back and say, “What is the problem? I don’t get it…these folks are lost, blind, weak and weary and yet they harden themselves…” and so He marveled. Great grief came upon Him and He departed…
•Here something clicks. John, filled with the Holy Spirit for 50 or 60 years by this time has seen great evil, great cruelty, great stupidity as folks have chosen to rebel against God, harden their hearts in refusal to humble themselves and choose Jesus and He has watched people be destroyed because of it…and now it has been revealed…this evil that has been at work the whole time…pride, rebellion, selfishness, religion…and he wonders in amazement that the whole time…every circumstance was spiritual…every argument he witnessed, every child he saw dirty and hungry, every single parent, every abandoned husband, every boasting religious elite…all the same…all spiritual…
•And the angel sees that he gets it…sees that he sees…and so what’s next? What’s always next when truth is revealed and you face it, you receive it…more revelation!! Just like today, the Lord would say to me and to you, Hebrews 7:7-14, “Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, and saw My works forty years. Therefore, I was angry with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.’ So, I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
•There is some work that you and I must do in order to receive the things of God and that work is to accept the things of God. [Key Point #2] That’s our part…and when we do that, when we start doing that, when we do that just a little bit, we buck off the spirit that is making a fool of us…riding us and our lives like a donkey. Jesus gave His life to set you free…but there can be no receiving of that freedom if you don’t first accept that gift!


Uno de los muchos aspectos y características poderosos de Dios es que Él es el artesano supremo. Es el director de proyectos perfecto. Nunca hace algo a mitad de camino, nunca se detiene y dice: "¡Ah, lo suficientemente bueno!" El es fiel. Siempre y absolutamente.
Lo que hemos visto, desde el comienzo del Capítulo 6, es el proceso de Dios del juicio final del pecado ... desarraigándolo, aniquilando el mal por completo. Vimos el título de propiedad de la tierra, incumplido con la deuda de injusticia. Dado al hombre allí en el Huerto, pero luego el hombre lo entregó por nuestro propio libre albedrío a la serpiente, Satanás ... y desde entonces la tierra ha estado bajo el dominio del mal como Pablo dijo en 2 Corintios 4: 4 que Lucifer es el “ dios de esta era ". ¿Qué edad? La era de la caída ... pero todo eso está a punto de llegar a su fin.
Los sellos que mantienen cerrado el título de propiedad ... han sido abiertos (Capítulos 6 y 7) revelando la verdadera forma de la tierra ... caída y desamparada. Luego se tocaron los juicios de las trompetas (Capítulo 8) y la tierra fue golpeada ... y la consecuencia del pecado se vio sobre la tierra a través de los capítulos 9, 10 y 11. Luego, los juicios de las copas que hemos analizado en profundidad durante las últimas semanas donde la pasión plena de la justicia de Dios se ha derramado sobre un mundo que rechaza al Salvador ... mientras escuchamos a la gente maldecir a Dios una y otra vez, tres veces ... mientras la verdad y la fidelidad en forma definitiva, surgieron ...
Dios no se complace en esto. Al ver a los malvados destruidos. Ezequiel 33:11, “Vivo yo, dice el Señor Dios, que no me complazco en la muerte del impío, sino en que el impío se aparte de su camino y viva”.
Y así, la tierra ha sido segada. Tal como leemos en el capítulo 14 versículo 16 ... la tierra ha sido juzgada ... pero Dios aún no ha terminado ... ¿por qué? Porque la raíz de todo es lo siguiente. Verás, Dios hace todo al 100 ... 100 por ciento ... y desde el Huerto, desde el momento en que el pecado entró en el mundo ... ha habido lo último que debe ser tratado. Algo que es revelado por actos de desobediencia contra Dios e injusticia en la vida ... y eso último, que debe y un día finalmente será completamente tratado y descartado es la adoración falsa.
Eso es realmente el pecado ... es simple y espiritualmente expresado ... adoración falsa. Tiempo, atención, obediencia a algo o alguien que no sea el Único Dios verdadero. Isaías 45: 5 dice: "Yo solo soy Dios, no hay otro ..." Sin embargo, la adoración de dioses falsos ha sido la historia del hombre desde el jardín ...
Para ofrecer adoración falsa, debe haber un objeto de esa adoración. Una persona, un lugar o una cosa ... muchos dioses falsos se mencionan en la Biblia. Baal o Balaam o Nimrod o es posible que hayas oído hablar de Osiris, Zeus, Saturno ... todo es el mismo tipo, todo eso el mismo dios falso. Ashtaroth, Simeramis, Diana, o es posible que hayas oído hablar de Juno, Isis, Isthar (de donde obtenemos nuestra palabra Pascua), toda la misma diosa falsa ... pero nuevamente, Dios está en el negocio de ir directo a la raíz del asunto y detrás de todos estos dioses falsos hechos por el hombre, el poder de todos estos objetos de adoración falsa que le ha robado a Dios las alabanzas de su pueblo ... y ha arrancado millones de vidas multiplicadas, detrás de todo ... es constante ... una maldad suprema ... un espíritu de adoración falsa ...
La Biblia lo llama la "gran ramera". Yo lo llamo, "Los Caídos". El espíritu de la adoración falsa. La religión establecida por Satanás y alimentada por el pecado. Y los grandes mandamientos de esta adoración falsa son amarte a ti mismo (la serpiente le dijo a Eva: “Te haré como Él”… mira, la serpiente librada…), ámate a ti mismo con todo tu corazón, alma, mente y fuerzas. Y pon a tu vecino en segundo lugar.
Esta adoración falsa que ha contaminado la perfección de la creación de Dios y llevado a muchos hombres y mujeres a la separación eterna de Dios, ha sido juzgada en forma de consecuencia sobre todos los que la acogieron ... todos los que la eligieron en lugar de Él ... y ahora, Dios, (mientras completa todo lo que comienza), ... como Él es siempre y sin cesar fiel no solo para abordar el pecado sino también para erradicarlo ... está a punto de acabar con ella para siempre.
Capítulo 17 veremos el aspecto religioso, el lado espiritual de este ídolo supremo destruido y luego en el Capítulo 18 veremos el lado político, físico, el lado consecuente destruido… lo que se reduce a que la veremos destruida completa y eternamente, ya que Dios prepara el escenario para que todas las cosas sean puramente nuevas, sin maldad, sin pecado y sin muerte ...
¿Cuál es la consumación de los caídos? ¿Una erradicación? ¿Quitarlo? Ni siquiera cerca…, eso no completa nada. La finalización, para lidiar totalmente con el pecado ... siempre hay una reversión completa. Un deshacer. Exactamente lo que
hizo Jesús en la cruz. La paga del pecado es muerte. Jesús tomó la muerte en un estado sin pecado y en ese estado la muerte falló. La muerte fue derrotada, pero aún más ... fue anulada, revertida ... ya que Él tenía el poder de resucitar El mismo de la tumba. Ahora vemos la siguiente reversión y ese es un regreso a la inocencia. El cielo nuevo y la tierra nueva están en el horizonte, el jardín restablecido sin serpiente ... elecciones hechas (todos allí ya eligieron al Señor) por lo que no se necesitan más opciones ... todo puramente nuevo, sin maldad, sin pecado y sin muerte ... incluso se elimina la posibilidad ... un hogar sin Lucifer
Este es el plan de Dios. Esto es lo que nos espera. Y esto es lo que Él puede hacer incluso en la vida de hoy. Todo lo que el enemigo te ha robado, Dios puede restaurarlo e incluso traer belleza de las cenizas ... Él está en el negocio no solo de acabar con el pecado, sino de revertirlo todo junto. Eso es realmente el arrepentimiento ... no solo detener el pecado, sino corregirlo ... esforzarse por la unidad en el vínculo de paz que leemos en Efesios ... ¿y dónde se originó todo eso en primer lugar? ¡En el carácter mismo de Dios, exhibido en la cruz de Jesucristo!
No es demasiado tarde. No es. Tu montón de cenizas no es demasiado grande. Lo que es una gran oportunidad para que la gloria y el poder lleguen a Dios a través de tu vida. Entrégaselo a Él. No te escondas y sigue adelante ... llévaselo a Él y usa todo ese mal, toda esa destrucción, úsalo todo contra el enemigo presionando al Señor. Le encanta revertir el pecado y el mal ... y los caídos, el espíritu de adoración falsa que ha plagado a la creación desde que el pecado entró en el mundo, Dios también tendrá Su victoria allí ...
Apocalipsis Capítulo 17 Versículos 1-2
· Este ángel dice que esta es LA gran ramera que se sienta sobre muchas aguas. Y sabemos por nuestros estudios anteriores (e incluso más tarde en este capítulo) que este término "muchas aguas" significa todas las naciones ... y fíjense que el ángel aquí menciona que los reyes y los habitantes de la tierra habían comulgado con ella ... y entonces este es EL ... el que desde el principio a quien ha sido embriagador, tentador y devorador de los hijos de Dios ... los hijos han sido juzgados, tiempo para la madre dice el ángel ...
· Y observe el poder universal y la presencia del sistema religioso falso ... adoración falsa de dioses falsos ... ya sea budismo, Islam, satanismo, hinduismo, rastafarianismo, Wicca ... no importa ... ¡todo eso es la gran ramera! Cualquier adoración que no se ofrezca directamente a Dios Todopoderoso a través de la sangre intercesora de Jesucristo, el Hijo de Dios, Dios mismo en la persona del Salvador, es fornicación para Dios… engañarlo a El. Jesús dijo: "Nadie viene al Padre sino por mí ..." y fíjense en esta universalidad de esta gran ramera ...
· Me gustaría ofrecerles otro nombre de esta gran ramera ... religión. Piense en ello de esa manera. La religión está hecha por el hombre. Está centrado en el hombre y no importa qué religión sea ... si no es una relación personal con Jesucristo y tu vida escondida en Él y NADA más ... ¡ES la gran ramera! El deseo número uno de Dios es ser uno a uno contigo ... ya que la última reversión del pecado está sobre el mundo en este capítulo, recibir a Jesucristo es, en efecto, la reversión del pecado personalmente para ti y para mí y un regreso a la inocencia con Dios el Padre.
Apocalipsis Capítulo 17 Versículo 3
· Hemos visto siete cabezas y diez cuernos antes, ¿verdad? Apocalipsis Capítulo 13 Versículo 1 y lo identificamos en ese momento, ¿recuerdas?¿Quién es él? ¡El anticristo! ¿Y quién lo monta? La Caída. Ahora, comprenda, el ciclista siempre es superior al que es montado. Una persona monta a caballo. ¡He-Man monta a Battle Cat! !El caso es que el Anticristo es un peón! Todo el poder de la tierra y, sin embargo, todo lo que él es es una marioneta, una herramienta, de esta gran Ramera.
· Sabes, el pecado y la carne y el enemigo y este mundo te prometerán todo… tal como lo hizo la serpiente con Eva. Incluso puede entregarle todo ... tal como lo hizo la serpiente con Eva, pero cuando lo tengas, no te hará feliz. No te va a satisfacer. Satanás ofreció el mundo y todos sus reinos a Jesús ... y si Jesús hubiera dicho que sí, los habría obtenido todos ... y habría perdido a Su esposa. Perdió su propósito. Perdió su amor y su gozo. No se convierta en un peón. Incluso cuando obtienes todo lo que la carne dice que quieres y el pecado te promete ... no serás feliz. [Punto clave n. ° 1]
· ¿Qué te hará feliz? Ve tras lo que Dios tiene para ti en tu vida. Por ejemplo, ve tras el ... Puede que ahora sea difícil. Puede requerir algo de trabajo ahora, pero Proverbios 16:20 dice: "El que escucha sabiamente la palabra hallará el bien, y el
que confía en el Señor, feliz es". El pecado y la carne son verdad agitada y sacudida con mentiras. Esto es bueno. Esto es lo que quieres. Haz esto y lo conseguirás. Y todo eso es cierto. Pero la enfermedad del descontento, la vergüenza y el arrepentimiento acompañan a los caminos de la carne. No dejes que te monten ... superalo ... y haz menos a esta gran ramera embriagada conocida como la caída. Y si es así, ¡es hora de echarla! ¡Cambie de rumbo y conéctese en línea con el Espíritu Santo!
Apocalipsis Capítulo 17 Versículo 4
· ¿De dónde sacó todo eso? ¿Todas esas prendas y adornos de la realeza? ¿De dónde salió el pecado, la adoración falsa, la rebelión, la religión y la mentalidad de mí misma (todas las mismas cosas), de dónde sacó todo eso Ella? ¡¡¡De los hombres !!! Pago por sus servicios. ¡Es increíblemente interesante cómo el pecado promete pagar, pero termina costándote tanto! Este es el pago ...
· Note la prosperidad ilimitada y la pasión impía mientras está adornada con los tesoros de este mundo que son la grava del mundo venidero ... los tesoros del mundo venidero son amor ... paz ... alegría ... dulzura, bondad, pura e inmaculada adorar, no estas baratijas, no estos elementos que son solo temporales ... y la copa de oro que ella lleva está llena de abominaciones, inmundicias y fornicación a nuestro Dios ...
Apocalipsis Capítulo 17 Versículo 5
· De modo que dos ciudades dominan las escrituras. Uno es Jerusalén, por supuesto. La ciudad de Dios. Fundada por Dios. La capital de Israel, literalmente el pueblo gobernado por Dios. La otra ciudad es Babilonia. Mencionado más de 300 veces en la Biblia. La ciudad de la revuelta. Fundada por Nimrod, cuyo nombre significa literalmente "uno que se rebela".
· Ves que este es el Libro de Apocalipsis. Aquí se revela cuál es el mal incluso detrás de Babilonia ... incluso detrás de la revuelta, ¡la rebelión, la adoración falsa, la confusión ... es la ramera y ella representa este espíritu que ha estado obrando en los corazones de los hombres desde la caída ... el espíritu de venderse a sí mismo y abominación!
· Y observe que está intoxicada. Parece . En un estar embriagada, En estupor ... ¿de qué? Mira el versículo 6 ...
Apocalipsis Capítulo 17 Versículo 6
· Al enseñar en la sinagoga de Jerusalén el sábado, Jesús levantó la cabeza y Marcos nos escribe en Marcos 6: 6 que Jesús se maravilló de su incredulidad. Lo menciono porque no quiero que pienses que John está admirando a esta bestia y este mal que cabalga sobre él. Jesús no admiró la incredulidad de la gente, se lamentó por ello ... hasta el punto que tuvo que dar un paso atrás y decir: “¿Cuál es el problema? No lo entiendo ... esta gente está perdida, ciega, débil y fatigada y, sin embargo, se endurecen ... ”y así se maravilló. Le sobrevino un gran dolor y se fue ...
· Aquí algo hace clic, algo cambia. Juan, lleno del Espíritu Santo durante 50 o 60 años para este tiempo, ha visto una gran maldad, una gran crueldad, una gran estupidez, ya que la gente ha elegido rebelarse contra Dios, endurecer sus corazones al negarse a humillarse y elegir a Jesús y Él ha observado a la gente ser destruida por eso ... y ahora se ha revelado ... este mal que ha estado obrando todo el tiempo ... orgullo, rebelión, egoísmo, religión ... y se pregunta con asombro que todo el tiempo ... cada circunstancia fue espiritual ... cada argumento que presenció, cada niño que vio sucio y hambriento, cada padre soltero, cada esposo abandonado, cada élite religiosa jactanciosa ...todo lo mismo ... todo espiritual ...
· Y el ángel ve que lo capta ... ve que el puede ver eso ... y entonces, ¿qué sigue? Lo que siempre sigue cuando se revela la verdad y la afrontas, la recibes ... ¡¡más revelación !! Al igual que hoy, el Señor nos diría a mí y a ustedes, Hebreos 7: 7-14, “Por tanto, como dice el Espíritu Santo:“ Si oyereis hoy su voz, no endurezcáis vuestro corazón como en la rebelión, en el día del juicio en el desierto, donde vuestros padres me probaron, me probaron y vieron mis obras cuarenta años. Por lo tanto, me enojé con esa generación y dije: 'Siempre se extravían en su corazón, y no han conocido Mis caminos'. Por lo tanto, juré en Mi ira: 'No entrarán en Mi reposo'. Cuidado, hermanos. para que no haya en alguno de ustedes un corazón maligno de incredulidad al apartarse del Dios viviente; pero exhortaos unos a otros cada día, mientras se llama “Hoy”, para que ninguno de vosotros se endurezca por el engaño del pecado. Porque nos hemos convertido en partícipes de Cristo si mantenemos el principio de nuestra confianza firme hasta el fin, mientras se dice: "Si oyereis hoy su voz, no endurezcáis vuestro corazón como en la rebelión".
· Hay un trabajo que tú y yo debemos hacer para recibir las cosas de Dios y ese trabajo es aceptar las cosas de Dios. [Punto clave # 2] Esa es nuestra parte ... y cuando hacemos eso, cuando empezamos a hacer eso, cuando lo hacemos solo un poquito, rechazamos el espíritu que se está burlando de nosotros ... montándonos a nosotros y a nuestras vidas como un burro. Jesús dio su vida para liberarte ... ¡pero no puedes recibir esa libertad si primero no aceptas ese regalo!
