2 Corinthians 11 vs 1-4

2 Corinthians Chapter 11Verse 1
•It’s really the next two chapters…this folly Paul is talking about. Literally what he says is, “Bear with me in a little of my folly,” and what that means is that he is just going to complain for a few chapters and tell them what they’ve done to him. It’s folly (or to him it is foolish) because truly, and we can observe this through his life, they are more important to them than he is to himself. That’s already been made obvious. I’ll tell you right now…if you ever have to try and convince someone that you DO care about them or that you DO love them then take a big step back and change that message to I’m sorry that I haven’t loved you but if you can forgive me, you’ll see that I do love you now!
•Many discuss that perhaps this letter, (chapters 10 – 13), was like a Facebook post written in the heat of emotion…but Paul just didn’t have a delete button. It’s somewhat out of character for him. Not much doctrine, not much exhortation or admonition, just personally revealing the pain that he has suffered…and that could be the case…but what this does give us is quite valuable in my opinion. It shows us that no matter how mature people can be in the Lord, they still are people. And every person suffers…its just simply a fact of this fallen life…
•Don’t ever allow yourself to forget that…or don’t ever allow yourself to become so disgusted with someone because of how they act or what they believe or what they’ve done that you overlook the fact that they are just people, and all people suffer. If Jesus can do it and He’s perfect, man then I should be able to also. Jesus said, “Forgive them Father,” after they condemned Him to death on the cross! No matter how much you hate them for human reasons, God loves them and mourns for them…
•I had a dream on Thursday night. Not bad…until the end…the end of the dream was 100% horrible and I woke up so disturbed. April and I were at a store and we were checking out and Madison and Link were little little again…outside laughing on the sidewalk…which, by the way, I would never allow them outside when we are inside…but hey, it was a dream…and Madison found a puddle to swim in…and she jumped in and showing off dunked her head under the water. She somehow though got stuck…like the cement of the sidewalk was just small enough that she could slip down to swim but couldn’t get back up…and she was stuck under the water…
•I grabbed her head and tried to pull her up but couldn’t and I started to yell…, “April, help me!” and as the panic set in it changed to, “Jesus, help me!” and I could not get her head above the water…and then I woke up… Horrifying dream…the worst perhaps that I have ever had…and every day, people that I don’t know and perhaps people that I don’t agree with or in my flesh significantly do not like, endure suffering like that…although it’s not a dream for them. So, while many dismiss these chapters, Paul will even say in this chapter that what he is saying is his own folly and not from the Lord…I will allow my heart to hear his pain…that I might decrease and that Christ might increase in me…
2 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 2
•Worldly jealousy, human jealousy is a terribly destructive thing because it seeks to take from you what you have so that I may have it or it seeks to take from you what you have because I don’t have it also… Godly jealousy is an entirely different concept and it is entirely constructive because it seeks to give to you all that you do not have, wanting the furthest best for you.
•And something that Paul points out here that every pastor or reverend or minister should remember…the people belong to Jesus not to them or their church…good really for all of us to remember especially when we are dealing with a problem person…just to be able to say, “God, you’re in, I’m out, they’re Yours anyway!” HA!
2 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verses 3 – 4
•I love these wonderful statements by Paul! The fact is that the more you grow in the Lord, grow in strength of faith, the more your eyes open to the truth as you steer closer to the Lord, the more simple it gets. I didn’t say easier and neither did Paul, but certainly simpler! John 3:16, “Because of God’s love, He sent His only Son that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.” Get there and then what? Simple! Matthew 22:34-40, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, this is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, love others as yourself.”
•Anything that seeks to complicate that with layers of tradition, rules and rulers…levels and methods and steps and whatever…corrupts from the simplicity that is in Christ. Even the digging and prioritizing of deep theology over the single commandment that Jesus shut down the Pharisees with…can corrupt the heart. It’s K.I.S.S. Keep it simple…saint! HA!!
•Jesus prayed in Matthew 11:25, “I thank You, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes!” I spend most of my prayer time and personal time with the Lord just uncorrupting my own heart because I overcomplicate everything. How can I be a good pastor, serve the people well and make the right decisions? How can I be a good husband, fix what needs to be fixed in my relationships? How can I excel at work…on and on…the answer? Simple. God, priority one…not just in thought but in truth…and then others, higher priority than me…then…boom. Matthew 6:33…so simple, not easy…but oh so simple!
•And then Paul deals a death blow to every false gospel weak dollar store doctrine out there…just cheap doctrine that seeks to make followers of men rather than followers of God…which is what the orators that had crept into the Church at Corinth were doing…deception and corruption has led them to put up with other Jesus’ and other gospels which he wrote in Galatians 1:8, we shouldn’t put up with that at all…but let them be put out…rejected and John wrote in 2 John 1:10 that we shouldn’t even greet them, bring them into our homes or wish them well when they leave…but we should correct, rebuke, exhort and teach in all lowliness of mind, letting your gentleness be known to all men for the Lord is at hand!
•Paul says another Jesus, a different spirit or a different gospel…Right on the cover of the Book of Mormon it says, “Another Testament of Jesus Christ.” Just to get past the cover you have to essentially throw out the Bible…but that’s exactly the deception as its been since the beginning…the complicating and the replacing…as the serpent deceived Eve with these words, “Has God said?” Entirely another gospel…On “bookofmormoncentral.org,” here is the objective stated, “We build enduring faith in Jesus Christ by making the Book of Mormon accessible, comprehensible, and defensible to people everywhere.” The issue is that Jesus is not the Son of God, One with the Father as the Bible clearly states but they teach that Jesus is the brother of Lucifer. An entirely different Jesus.
•Just as Paul said…perhaps what was popular and selling in the town square even in Corinth…another Jesus. Corrupting the simplicity of Jesus’ own words that if you have seen Me, John 14:9, then you have seen the Father. The Jehovah’s Witness teaches that Jesus is Michael the Archangel, another Jesus, …Islam teaches another Jesus, Judaism teaches another Jesus, even portions of Christianity teach another Jesus like Jesus times 2 by adding co-redemptors…all of these things must be rejected as Paul says they are all just reverberations of the original deception of man…
•Keep it simple. God loves you and there are no terms and conditions. Open you heart to God Most High…seek Him with your whole heart…and you will find Him. Give Him your life, make Him the priority and He will work in your heart to guide you even into the fix of your earthly relationships…showing you personally His faithfulness and His goodness and teaching you to love folks like He does…brush, rinse, repeat…and each day you walk with the Lord, it will get a little simpler!


2 Corintios Capítulo 11 Versículo 1

•Realmente son los próximos dos capítulos ... de esta locura de la que habla Pablo. Literalmente, lo que dice es: "Ten paciencia conmigo en un poco de mi locura", y lo que eso significa es que se va a quejar por algunos capítulos y decirles lo que le han hecho. Es una locura (o para él es una tontería) porque realmente, y podemos observar esto a través de su vida, son más importantes para ellos que para él mismo. Eso ya se hizo obvio. Te lo diré ahora mismo ... si alguna vez tienes que intentar convencer a alguien de que SI TE IMPORTAN o de que SI LOS AMAS, entonces da un gran paso atrás y cambia ese mensaje a “lo siento”, no te he amado, ¡pero si puedes perdonarme, verás que ahora te amo!

•Muchos discuten que tal vez esta carta, (capítulos 10-13), era como una publicación de Facebook escrita en el calor de la emoción ... pero Pablo simplemente no tenía un botón de borrar. Es algo fuera de lugar para él. No mucha doctrina, ni mucha exhortación o amonestación, solo revelar personalmente el dolor que ha sufrido ... y ese podría ser el caso ... pero lo que esto nos da es bastante valioso en mi opinión. Nos muestra que no importa cuán maduras puedan ser las personas en el Señor, todavía son personas. Y cada persona sufre ... es simplemente un hecho de esta vida caída ...

•Nunca te permitas olvidar eso ... o nunca te permitas estar tan disgustado con alguien debido a cómo actúan o lo que creen o lo que han hecho que pasas por alto el hecho de que solo son personas, y todas las personas sufren. Si Jesús puede hacerlo y es perfecto, hombre, entonces yo también debería poder hacerlo. ¡Jesús dijo: "Perdónalos Padre", después de que lo condenaron a muerte en la cruz! No importa cuánto los odies por razones humanas, Dios los ama y llora por ellos ...

•Tuve un sueño el jueves por la noche. No está mal ... hasta el final ... el final del sueño fue 100% horrible y me desperté muy perturbado. April y yo estábamos en una tienda y estábamos saliendo y Madison y Link volvían a ser pequeños ... afuera riéndose en la acera ... lo cual, por cierto, nunca los dejaría salir cuando estamos adentro ... pero bueno, era un sueño ... y Madison encontró un charco para nadar ... y ella saltó al charco y presumiendo sumergió su cabeza bajo el agua. Sin embargo, de alguna manera se quedó atascada bajo el agua... como si el cemento de la acera fuera lo suficientemente pequeño como para que pudiera deslizarse para nadar pero no pudiera volver a levantarse ... y estaba atrapada bajo el
agua ...

•Agarré su cabeza e intenté levantarla, pero no pude y comencé a gritar ... "¡April, ayúdame!" y cuando el pánico comenzó a embargarme más, cambio a "¡Jesús, ayúdame!" y no pude sacar su cabeza del agua ... y luego desperté ... Horrible sueño ... quizás lo peor que he tenido ... y todos los días, personas que no conozco y quizás personas con las que no estoy de acuerdo o en mi carne significativamente que no me gustan, soportan el sufrimiento de esa manera ... aunque no es un sueño para ellos. Entonces, mientras muchos descartan estos capítulos, Pablo incluso dirá en este capítulo que lo que está diciendo es su propia locura y no del Señor ... yo personalmente permitiré que mi corazón escuche su dolor ... para que yo pueda disminuir y que Cristo pueda aumentar en mi…

2 Corintios Capítulo 11 Versículo 2 ·

•Los celos mundanos, los celos humanos son algo terriblemente destructivo porque busca quitarte lo que tienes para que yo pueda tenerlo o busca quitarte lo que tienes porque yo tampoco lo tengo ... Los celos divinos son un concepto completamente diferente y es completamente constructivo porque busca darte todo lo que no tienes, deseando lo mejor para ti.

•Y algo que Pablo señala aquí que cada pastor o reverendo o el ministro debe recordar ... la gente le pertenece a Jesús, no a ellos ni a su iglesia ... realmente bueno para que todos lo recordemos, especialmente cuando tratamos con una persona problemática ... solo para poder decir: "Dios, estás dentro y en control, yo Estoy fuera, ¡ellos son tuyos o esa persona es tuya de cualquier modo! ¡HA!

2Corintios Capítulo 11 Versículos 3 - 4 ·

•¡Me encantan estas maravillosas declaraciones de Pablo! El hecho es que cuanto más creces en el Señor, creces en la fuerza de la fe, más abres tus ojos a la verdad a medida que te acercas al Señor, más simple se vuelve. No dije más fácil y Pablo tampoco, ¡pero ciertamente más simple! Juan 3:16, "Debido al amor de Dios, envió a Su único Hijo para que todo el que creyera en Él no perecería, sino que tendría vida eterna". ¿Llegar allí y luego qué? Simple…
Mateo 22: 34-40, “Ama al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, alma y mente, este es el primer y gran mandamiento. Y el segundo es similar, ama a los demás como a ti mismo ".

•Cualquier cosa que busque complicar eso con capas de tradición, reglas y reglamentos de regidores ... niveles, métodos y pasos y lo que sea ... corrompe la simplicidad que hay en Cristo. Incluso cavar y priorizar la teología profunda sobre el mandamiento único con el que Jesús callo a los fariseos ... puede corromper el corazón. Esto es K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Saint) Que sea sencillo ... santo!

•Jesús oró en Mateo 11:25, "¡Te agradezco, Padre, Señor del Cielo y de la tierra, que hayas escondido estas cosas de los sabios y prudentes y las hayas revelado a los bebés!" Paso la mayor parte de mi tiempo de oración y tiempo personal con el Señor simplemente des corrompiendo mi propio corazón porque complica todo demasiado. ¿Cómo puedo ser un buen pastor, servir bien a la gente y tomar las decisiones correctas? ¿Cómo puedo ser un buen esposo, arreglar lo que hay que arreglar en mis relaciones? Cómo
¿puedo sobresalir en el trabajo ... una y otra vez ... la respuesta? Simplemente. Dios, prioridad uno ... no solo en el pensamiento sino en la verdad ... y luego otros, una prioridad más alta que yo ... entonces ... boom. Mateo 6: 33 ... tan simple, no fácil ... ¡pero tan simple!

•Y luego Pablo da un golpe mortal a cada doctrina falsa del evangelio de la tienda de dólares débil ... solo doctrina barata que busca hacer seguidores de hombres en lugar de seguidores de Dios ... que es lo que estaban haciendo los oradores que se habían infiltrado en la Iglesia en Corinto ... el engaño y la corrupción los ha llevado a predicar a otros Jesús, a predicar otros evangelios, que es lo que escribió Pablo en Gálatas 1: 8, no deberíamos aguantar eso en absoluto ... pero dejarlos ir... rechazarlos y Juan escribió en 2 Juan 1:10 que ni siquiera deberíamos saludarlos, traerlos a nuestras casas o desearles lo mejor cuando se vayan ... pero debemos corregir, reprender, exhortar y enseñar con toda humildad, dejando que nuestra gentileza sea conocida por todos los hombres. ¡Porque el Señor está cerca!

•Pablo dice otro Jesús, un espíritu diferente o un evangelio diferente ... Justo en la portada del Libro de Mormón dice: "Otro testamento de Jesucristo". Solo para dejar pasar la cubierta del libro del Mormón, esencialmente tienes que tirar a la basura la Biblia ... pero ese es exactamente el engaño como lo ha sido desde el principio ... la complicación y el reemplazo ... como la serpiente engañó a Eva con estas palabras: "¿Ha dicho Dios?" Un evangelio completamente diferente ... En "bookofmormoncentral.org", aquí está el objetivo declarado: "Construimos una fe duradera en Jesucristo al hacer que el Libro de Mormón sea accesible, comprensible y defendible para las personas en todas partes". El problema es que Jesús no es el Hijo de Dios, uno con el Padre como la Biblia lo dice claramente, pero enseñan que Jesús es el hermano de Lucifer. Un Jesús completamente diferente.

• Tal como dijo Pablo ... tal vez lo que era popular y se vendía en la plaza del pueblo incluso en Corinto ... otro Jesús. Corrompiendo la simplicidad de las propias palabras de Jesús de que si me has visto, en Juan 14: 9, entonces has visto al padre. Los Testigos de Jehová enseña que Jesús es Miguel el Arcángel, otro Jesús ... El Islam enseña a otro Jesús, el judaísmo enseña a otro Jesús, incluso partes del cristianismo enseñan a otro Jesús como Jesús x 2 al agregar corredentores ... todas estas cosas deben ser rechazadas como Pablo dice que todos son solo reverberaciones del engaño original del hombre.

•Mantenlo simple. Dios te ama y no hay términos y condiciones. Abre tu corazón al Dios Altísimo ... búscalo con todo tu corazón ... y lo encontrarás. Dale tu vida, hazlo a EL la prioridad y Él trabajará en tu corazón para guiarte incluso en el arreglo de tus relaciones terrenales ... mostrándote personalmente Su fidelidad y Su bondad y enseñándote a amar a la gente como El lo hace ... cepillar, enjuagar, repite ... y cada día que camines con el Señor, ¡será un poco más simple!
